Client Spotlight – Stephanie Kennedy

Through this line of work, I get a chance to meet so many amazing people in the Buffalo community and, sometimes, outside of it, as well. From couples getting engaged & married to families big and small, those getting down to business with their branding, and women giving the gift of beauty to themselves (and maybe their loved ones if they’re lucky) through boudoir.

Since Buffalo is, really, just a small town, I thought I would give you some insight into the people who come through my door. Specifically, I’m here to highlight those businesses that are working on their branding and showcasing what they can do in our great America city.

Without further ado, I’d like to introduce you to Stephanie Kennedy, my first client spotlight of this series. Stephanie is the owner of Reach Digital Media Solutions, a digital marketing agency at the beginning of its journey. Buffalo born & raised, Stephanie is a young entrepreneur just beginning to make her mark in our community. Through the power of social media and social media empowerment consulting, she has been able to help 50+ businesses in the Buffalo area and beyond to feel empowered about their digital presence, but, also, has been able to help businesses build their brand, brand awareness, and consistency in posting through social media.

Not only does she do some awesome things through digital marketing, but she is a leader in our community, too. She is the Immediate Past President of NYS Women Inc. Buffalo-Niagara Chapter, the Communications Chair for NAWBO Buffalo-Niagara, and she is on the Council for Tomorrow’s Leaders of WNY through the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation of WNY.

After her three years of running her business, she knew the importance of branding and how to brand yourself effectively in the community. That’s why we decided to do a branding shoot to better convey her bright spirit, her professionalism, and her drive to better help those businesses around her.

Let me tell you…when I say we had a blast, we really did! We were laughing and joking the entire time. Being light brings out the best in everyone and who doesn’t want to have fun during their photoshoot? I sent her off to Chez Ann Salon to get her all dolled up for her shoot. She came back GLOWING. She was so happy & told me how confident she was feeling. What a great start to an even greater shoot. We took some beautiful pictures in the studio, then we headed down to Hoyt Lake. At this time, it was Fall so it was still, relatively, warm and the sunshine was perfect. I like to take my clients out to lunch during their session. We made a really fun time of it by incorporating some Buffalo themed foods like Wings & Loganberry Sours at Resurgence Brewing Co.

I asked her what her favorite part of the shoot was. She said, “Laughing and having a good time with it. You think of professional photoshoots as being stern and stiff. This was anything but that. I could really bring out my real, authentic self.”

So, thank you, Stephanie, for being your authentic self with me. Your attitude and love for Buffalo really shined through in this photoshoot.
